
His Eminence Charles Cardinal Bo requested prayers to the Church in Myanmar for the quick recovery of Pope Francis on February 24, 2025.

"You will build the bridge of peace in the place of divisions,” insisted His Eminence Charles Cardinal Bo to the new Bishop Peter Tin Wai.



His Eminence Charles Cardinal Bo said, “As we celebrate this feast, Mary asks us to be the peacemakers. Be the bearers of the light of reconciliation.”

Pope Francis appointed Most. Rev. Msgr. Augustine Thang Zawm Hung, to be the bishop of Mindat Diocese in Myanmar at 5:30 PM (Myanmar Standard Time) on January 25.

Most Rev. Msgr. John Mung Ngawn La Sam is the world's first bishop from the Congregation of Missionaries of Faith.

“As we passed through the Jubilee door; we were to become the pilgrims of hope,” said Charles Cardinal Bo.
