Myanmar Cardinal requests prayers for the swift recovery of Pope Francis

His Eminence Charles Cardinal Bo requested prayers to the Church in Myanmar for the quick recovery of Pope Francis on February 24, 2025.

Cardinal Bo, the president of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Myanmar (CBCM), requested, “I earnestly request to all of you to join together in fervent prayer, asking our Lord to grant him healing, comfort, and strength in His boundless love and mercy.”

The president of CBCM stated that Pope Francis was currently receiving medical treatment at Gemelli Hospital in Rome.

The cardinal encouraged all to offer Holy Masses, pray the Rosary, and spend time in Eucharistic adoration, praying with one heart for Pope Francis’s swift recovery.

“May our united prayers be a source of spiritual strength and healing grace for him,” Cardinal Bo prayed.

He recalled that Pope Francis had always remembered Myanmar in his prayers and messages, expressing his concern and great desire for peace and harmony in Myanmar.

Myanmar Cardinal urged, “Let us now offer our earnest prayers for his health and well-being.”
