Pope Francis passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at the age of 88 at his residence in the Vatican’s Casa Santa Marta.

Pope Francis was the first Pope who visit Myanmar from November 27 to 30, 2017.

Pope Francis always remembered Myanmar and asked to pray for the peace of Myanmar.

Recently, he requested to pray for and assist the victims of the devastating earthquake and long conflict in Myanmar at Urbi et Orbi Blessing on Easter Sunday 2025.
