Saints Cornelius, Pope, and Cyprian, Bishop, were faithful servants of Christ and courageous martyrs. Saint Cornelius was Pope of Rome and defended the Church with mercy and courage. Saint Cyprian was Bishop of Carthage and strongly promoted faith and unity in the Church. Both remained faithful to Christ during persecution and gave their lives for their faith. Their lives teach us to be faithful, courageous, merciful, and united in Christ.
