"Even though we celebrate this feast every year," Bishop Henry stated, "it is to profess our Faith. We all belong to the universal Church. We try to renew the faith and promises we hold."
Saint Peter, the Rock of Authority, and Saint Paul, the Herald to the Nations, stand as pillars of the Church, reminding us of the grace of God and the call to live out our mission in the world.
"We remember Pope Francis who proclaimed the Jubilee to celebrate ‘the Hope that does not disappoint’. This is the season of hope... inviting us to discover the joy of meeting the Lord, calling us to spiritual renewal, and committing us to the transformation of our world."
“When we celebrate Jubilee, we should remember these three things: remember the past, focus on today, and plan for the future,” said Bishop Henry Eikhlein of Pathein Diocese.
