Pope entrusts his 45th Apostolic Journey to Mother Mary

Pope Francis entrusted his Apostolic Journey to 3 Asian countries and 1 Oceania country into the hands of Mother Mary at the Saint Mary Major Basilica on Sunday, September 1.

On the eve of his departure to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor-Leste, and Singapore, Pope Francis went to the Roman Basilica of Saint Mary Major to entrust his apostolic visit to the Blessed Virgin Mary as usual.

The 87-year-old Pope Francis is to start his 45th Apostolic Journey abroad which will mark the longest journey of his pontificate, with the departure from Rome in the early evening on Monday, September 2, a 12-day Apostolic visit (2 – 13 September).

He is scheduled to arrive at Jakarta, the Capital of Indonesia on Tuesday at 11:30 AM local time.
