Sermon on the Holy Word of God

Sayar U Zaw Moe Sein delivered the Sermon on the theme “The Holy Word of God: Building a World of Love.”

He reflected on the many voices and sounds people hear every day. Some sounds give us headaches; some make us feel distressed or troubled. Some are frightening, while others are sad. Some make us angry, while others bring us joy. In our daily lives, we hear all kinds of sounds and voices from the people and the world around us.

Among all these voices and sounds, he noted, the voice of God may not always be among them. Therefore, if we want to hear God’s voice, we need to read the Holy Bible.

“The Bible is life for our daily living, and it is a precious treasure that every Christian should value and cherish,” he said.

He encouraged all Christians to read the Bible, believe in its teachings, and put them into practice in their daily lives. The Bible already teaches us to love one another. He emphasized that Christians should not only love those who love them, but also be able to love those who do not love them.
