Throughout his life, he faithfully served God and the Church, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. He had a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary and dedicated himself to peace, love, and the dignity of every human person.

Saint John Paul II faced many sufferings and challenges, but he remained strong in faith and trusted in God’s love. Even after surviving an assassination attempt, he forgave the man who attacked him, following the example of Jesus Christ. He died on April 2, 2005, and was canonized a saint on April 27, 2014.
